Everything was great. The front desk staff were extremely, professional, spoke fluent English,, friendly and helpful. Our room was not ready when we arrived, but they quickly arranged another room for us. As a first time to Ghent, they were most helpful providing us with a map, and giving us directions, including which modes of transport to take to the city's attractions. Great basement parking for 19 Euros per day.. Really great breakfast for sit down diners as well as those on the go to take away coffee and pastries. Spacious and clean rooms. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, well functioning air conditioner and we experienced a very quiet and restful evening. Great location, as it is close to bus stops to and from the trams to commute to the central train station., for the city centre and other destinations .Holiday Inn Express & Suites. IIHG, is our preferred, as it always lives up to our expectations The 40 minute boat trip along the canal, is also a must do, as it is a quick history overview of Ghent and Belgium.

The hotel was easy to find and had free parking. The room was perfect for our family of 4 and was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was a good selection and tasty. The bathroom particularly was luxurious and tea and coffee facilities were available in the kitchenette. Staff were very welcoming and helpful with good English. A great overnight stay.

We booked a family room, it had a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, kettle, sink, dining table. The bed room had one double bed and lounge had one sofa bed. Very comfy for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. The inclusive breakfast is a very wide spread of eggs, bacon, assorted croissants, toasts, cereals, hot/cold drinks, etc.

My requests sent prior to our arrival wasn’t picked up or responded too but they did their best to help us either way. Our room was lovely, there were lots of students staying onsite and they were so well handled and mature. Food was above average and was really happy with the coffee take away. The staff were helpful and warm - couldn’t do enough for us. We would return!!

The hotel is just off the motorway and so for us, as an on route stay over, was perfectly located. The staff were very friendly and helpful both at check in and check out and we booked one of the family rooms with a double bed and sofa bed in an adjoining room. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom was well equipped and a lovely size. Breakfast was more than adequate and overall this was a great hotel and stay. Highly recommended!

Nice and comfortable rooms, with a nice choice of hard or soft pillows. Bathroom was clean and perfect. Breakfast was good and they even stayed open a bit later than normal.

Easy to reach by bus and close to main highways around. Served good breakfast in the morning. In addition, the rooms were quiet and well-maintained.

Nice comfortable hotel and staff all helpful with local knowledge and advice for getting into the centre of town. Hotel is ideal if you are attending the football stadium (which we were), otherwise it is quite a way out of the town centre and associated amenities

It was the cheapest option for 4 people at 00:00 with the breakfast included. The reception works 24/7. The breakfast is fine, it's up to 10:00 weekdays. Tasty coffee and pastry. The hotel is clean. Comfy beds and pillows. Room is big enough. The receptionist was very friendly. Elevator is fast and convenient for disabled. Met two funny bunnies running near the hotel at night.
